You’ll find Alba Noosa tucked away in the greenery of Noosa Springs; a cafe, providore, pizzeria, restaurant, chef’s kitchen, cooking school and bar from the culinary genius of Peter Kuruvita. The interior designers of Alba, H&G Designs and Studio Shibui reached out to Jan Murphy Designs, discussing the need for curtains to soften the area and differentiate day and night dining.

THE INTERIOR

Picking a sturdy fabric in a classic flax colour, paired with custom-made luxurious leather tie-backs. Every little detail is important in our work. The curtain tracks were powder-coated for the illusion of invisibility, unnoticable as they disappear into the ceiling.

THE Exterior

For the exterior, an awning was requested. Jan Murphy Designs worked on a folding arm awning to create an alfresco effect. A striped fabric was selected to bring in the colour and nostalgic feel that matched the interior, creating a harmonious colour palette across the restaurant.
